Jedediah Smith writes poetry and fiction without the support of any university, institution, or government. While he taught introductory composition at several community colleges as an adjunct, he has never been part of a creative writing program or even a teacher with a full-time position. He is not a member of any historically under-represented / currently over-represented group but has been under-represented during his individual history of six decades. He holds wildly unpopular views and expresses them in heretical forms.
