On the other side of our sun hovers another sun, this one entirely black.
Beyond the black sun on the other side of our sun, orbits another earth, this one entirely orange.
And on that orange earth beyond the black sun on the other side of our sun,
everyone stands in the same river infinitely because change is constantly everything.
and men are multiorgasmic and multicellular
and bricks are made of walls and always set at oblique angles
and for them to come together commands as much energy per second as Earth
and zebras are white and black instead of black and white
and desperate love denotes a ravenous scorpion fluorescing blue at high noon
and sunbeams descend like water down a sewer
and one cosmic flare of song rivals flowers
and great black bumblebees are small and white with their stingers turned inward
and whenever they are threatened, they sting themselves
and I know all this because on that orange earth
beyond the black sun on the other side of our sun
there is a man just like me in every way
except he has my email and I have his
and we chat often.

I really enjoyed this, it is a thought I’ve also had, well expressed.
This is incredible.
Thanks so much
So original! I enjoyed the tour of that orange earth beyond the black sun, on the other side of our sun. 🖤🧡
Glad you enjoyed it
This whole poem is simply wonderful. I love these lines in particular:
“and men are multiorgasmic and multicellular
and bricks are made of walls and always set at oblique angles”
“and desperate love denotes a ravenous scorpion fluorescing blue at high noon” – so intriguing!
Wonderful write, Jedediah 🙂
