    I like the description of rain on the aluminum roof. One of my favorite restaurants here has some sort of roof that sounds much the same. I don’t make reservations there if rain is predicted!

  2. Rain and heat pours a lot of coin. Here in Florida we call it swamp boogie. We have a tin roof and when the rains comes down merciless it’s more of a bebop snare. Loved the leaky rhymes in this.

  3. Just what revivedwriter said: Great word choice: “The thermometer bloomed.” Nice description of the rain hitting the aluminum roof “like spare change poured from a sack.”
